In countries with greater economic difficulties, addressing people and communities in situations of vulnerability, AMU offers income generation programs based on the capabilities and aspirations of the direct protagonists.

  1. Ecuador – Sunrise+

    In the province of Esmeraldas, one of the regions with the highest poverty rate in the country, AMU has chosen to create a professional training program - especially for young people - and conservation of natural resources; so as to promote eco-sustainable job opportunities and entrepreneurship and fight the ecological damage that is increasing the social vulnerability of these populations.

    With this project we want to support the training of operators and managers of the nascent savings and credit cooperative, members of microcredit groups and their work to support new groups during 2024.
